Abstract
THE MANAGEMENT of chronic pancreatitis (CP) has seen few recent advances and continues to be a challenge. This disease is characterized by intractable pain, in most cases in a context of chronic alcohol intoxication. Pain is thus the major indication for surgery and is often associated with local complications of the disease. Keywords
