Abstract
Summarizes the results of micropaleontologic studies of the foraminiferal fauna of marine Carboniferous deposits of the Fort-Polignac basin in the eastern Sahara. Deposits at the base of the section (mainly Visean) are poor in microfossils, but beginning with the Collenia beds the microfauna is rich. Archaediscus is abundantly represented in the lower part (Namurian) and Profusulinella at the top (Moscovian).
