Abstract
Dephosphorised caseinogen, prepared by the action of 0.25 N NaOH upon caseinogen for 24 hrs. at 37[degree], has a lower N content than caseinogen. Analysis by the Van Slyke method shows that the loss has occurred chiefly in the "amide N" but to some extent in the "arginine N" fraction.
