Abstract
Naive rhesus monkeys were observed 10 hours daily for six days on a simple task with visual incentives. It was found that sustained visual exploratory behavior could be elicited for an average of 40% of the total testing time. "The data suggested that the animals worked to attain a relatively fixed amount of daily visual exploratory experience.".Keywords
