Abstract
The rate of appearance of diastase in the urine is greater during the day than at night. This higher rate during the period of meals is not due to the taking of food. Variations occur from day to day in the total daily and nightly output of diastase in healthy individuals. It is therefore clear that no significance can be placed on figures unless they differ markedly from the normal over a period of several hours. This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
