Abstract
The purpose of this letter is to describe the stability properties of the inverse problem of determining a straight-line crack in a specimen, from measurements of voltages and currents on its boundary. We discuss a stability theorem and its implications for practical applications. The stability behaviour is further studied in several numerical calculations. Keywords
