Abstract
We describe 3 patients with the Pierre Robin Syndrome who developed severe problems of airway obstruction after having the cleft palate closed and a pharyngeal flap done simultaneously. We now believe that, even at a later age, pharyngeal flaps should be done in these patients only after a most careful assessment of the airway competence. Keywords
