Abstract
Measurement of the reaction of water vapor and carbon dioxide with lithium compounds such as LiH and LiOH has been carried out in situ using diffuse reflectance infrared Fourier transform (DRIFT) Spectroscopy. The bakeable high-vacuum cell, based on a modification of a commercial diffuse reflectance infrared cell is described along with means for controlling the gaseous and thermal environment. Keywords
