FEMORAL neuropathy may occur in various hemorrhagic disorders, but has not been recorded in scurvy. This is a report of the occurrence of bilateral femoral neuropathy in scurvy.Case ReportIn a study of the metabolism of L-ascorbic acid in experimentally induced scurvy, a healthy 26-year-old man (plasma ascorbic acid of 1.08 mg per 100 ml), who had given his informed consent, received no ascorbic acid for 91 days.
