Abstract
The activation energies for the migration of nitrogen and oxygen interstitials in niobium, tantalum and vanadium have been calculated by using a Green function method and a model based upon the Flynn and Stoneham theory (1970) of light interstitial migration in solids. Reasonable agreement with the experimental results is obtained. Keywords
