Abstract
Perfusate glucose concentration was measured at hourly intervals for 6 hours during the perfusion of isolated livers from 8 normal rats and 8 hyperthyroid rats. The concentration fell much more rapidly in the hyperthyroid liver experiments, thus indicating a greater utilization of glucose than by isolated liver tissue from euthyroid rats. Keywords
