Abstract
Pial venous reactions to perivascular microapplication of norepinephrine (10−9 10−3 M) were investigated. The sample of 26 pial venous portions with resting diameters between 80 and 498 μm exhibited a significant constriction with 10−6−10−3 M norepinephrine solutions. The mean percentage constriction with 10−3 M norepinephrine solution was 22% from resting diameter. Keywords
