Splenic accumulation of 99Tcm-methylene diphosphonate

Abstract
The case reported by McHugh et al (1988) refers to their interesting observation that in a patient with chronic lymphocytic leukaemia, complicated by a Coombs-positive haemolytic anaemia, 99Tcm-MDP(methylene disphosphonate), a bone scanning agent, was selectively concentrated in the spleen.
