Abstract
Periodic examinations are an attempt to detect early disease in well people. They consist of complete history and physical examination with proctosigmoidoscopy; pelvic examinations for females; blood count; urinalysis; determinations of fasting blood sugar, uric acid, sedimentation rate and cholesterol; serology; posteriocauterio and lateral chest X-ray; and ecg with Master test. Further diagnostic studies are done as individually indicated. Adequate time is allowed for discussion of findings with patients. Results of such examinations are presented.Keywords
