Abstract
An inner product method of calculating eigenvalues is developed in both numerical and perturbation theoretic forms, and shown to be applicable to bound state and resonant state problems. The method is used to treat a problem in which the perturbed energy is a non-analytic function of a perturbation parameter. Keywords
