Abstract
High‐resolution bremsstrahlung isochromats of the semiborides (FeCo)B, Co2B, (CoNi)B, Ni2B are presented. A systematic difference between the isochromats of the borides and those of the corresponding metals can be understood in a simple charge transfer model. Boron acts as donor and supplies (1.6 ± 0.5) electrons per boron atom. Keywords
