Abstract
Synopsis: Potassium-argon whole rock ages on three camptonite dykes from the west coast of the Orkney Mainland yield an average age of 245 ± 12 my. A possible correlation is suggested between these intrusions and the Permian alkalic intrusions of Oslo Fjord. Keywords
