Abstract
Some conditions, considered idiopathic or of only partially known etiology, may have an anatomic basis. Among such conditions are possibly certain postural or orthostatic syndromes related to the kidney such as orthostatic proteinuria and orthostatic hypertension. In the present work some anatomic observations on the renal pedicle are presented that seem to give support to this concept. Keywords
