Abstract
With the increased awareness of laparoscopic cholecystectomy as a means of treating gallstone disease, surgeons and patients alike are now looking to it as a way of handling the more difficult cases as well. This paper sets out some surgical techniques and procedures the author has accumulated from 2 years’ experience with over 500 patients. The results clearly indicate that with good surgical technique it proves to be a safe and effective procedure.
