Abstract
The properties of a new buffer antacid, the active substance of which is a 40 per cent w/v aqueous solution of a complex considered to be sodium gluconatodihydroxoaluminate III, have been compared with those of some existing antacid preparations. The unit dose (4 ml.) of this preparation has high acid neutralising capacity, speed of action and buffering power. Keywords
