Black Grain Mycetoma of Foot

Abstract
A case of maduromycotic mycetoma caused by Madurella mycetomi is reported from a Punjab village near Delhi, an area from which cases of mycetoma have not been previously reported. Clinical, laboratory, and radiographic studies established the diagnosis. It is thought likely that occasional cases may exist in the rural areas of this part of the country, in patients who have not visited the hospital or been fully investigated.
