Abstract

SUMMARY: The activity of 75 strains of Acinetobacter (16 strains of A. Iwoffii and 59 strains of A. anitratus) against carbohydrates is described. It is concluded that no firm distinction can be made between these species which represent extreme ends of a group of organisms possessing widespread but variable activity.
