Pulmonary Tumors in Strain A Mice Given Injections of Aflatoxin B12

Abstract
Aflatoxin B1 injected intraperitoneally in 12 thrice-weekly doses, for a total dose of 5.6 mg, produced an average of 5.6 primary pulmonary tumors in all of 14 strain A mice. The pulmonary tumor response is a useful quantitative bioassay method for studies on carcinogenesis with aflatoxins and related agents.
