Abstract

Measurements are reported on the shape of the

R_{1}

,

R_{2}

,

M

,

N_{1}

, and

N_{2}

bands in KCl and KBr from 10 to 300°K. The first three moments are determined for the

M

band, and the peak position and half-width are determined for the remaining bands.
