Abstract
An exactly solvable model describing phase separation in a planar lattice gas has been shown to confirm aspects of Weeks's phenomenological columnar model. Here an intrinsic interface structure is defined and computed precisely. The conclusions support Widom's original scaling ideas and also some aspects of the work of Jasnow and Rudnick. Keywords
