Abstract
Longevity, reproduction, and mortality rates may indeed be interrelated, but the evidence provided by Holmes and Austad (1994, Journal of Mammalogy, 75:224–226) does not resolve the nature of this relationship for gliding mammals or clarify the relative role of metabolic constraints.Keywords
