Abstract
This article enumerates and describes the wide range of sites at which primary care is now offered; analyzes the impact of diagnostic testing procedures used in locations outside the doctor's office, such as imaging centers, hospices, and nursing homes; and looks at the effect of this decentralization on patients and medicine.Keywords
