Well-width dependence ofD−cyclotron resonance in quantum wells

Abstract
Negative-donor ( center) cyclotron resonance is studied in GaAs quantum wells of different widths to obtain information about the well-width dependence of the ground-state binding energy and optical transition energies in the range of 58–373 Å. The experimental magneto-optical transition energy is shown to increase with decreasing well width, in good agreement with variational quantum Monte Carlo results.
