Abstract
A stereotaxic apparatus was devised for frogs (R. pipiens pipiens) by adaptation of a commercially available apparatus. An atlas of orienting illustrations emphasizing detailed structure and distribution of forebrain nuclei was prepared from celloidin sections and paraffin sections. Nomenclature of nuclei is discussed and an attempt made to reconcile various interpretations in the published literature. This publication has 5 references indexed in Scilit:
