Abstract
A case of anaerobic hepatic abscess (Bacteroides fragilis), which initially was imaged as a cold defect on Ga-67 citrate scintigraphy and, following percutaneous drainage, became Ga avid, is presented. Proposed mechanisms for this occurrence are given.Keywords
