Sum Rules for Multipion Production Processes

Abstract
An additive quark model (together with an isospin distribution of charge configurations) is used to establish sum rules connecting pion-nucleon with nucleon-nucleon induced multipion production cross sections. The resulting relations are shown to be well satisfied by present experimental data.Keywords
