Abstract
The incoherent scattering function for neutron scattering from an atom or molecule undergoing continuous random walk diffusion in a region bounded by two parallel planes is derived. This equation should give a more comprehensive description of molecular diffusion in lamellar systems and intercalates than the two-dimensional form of the Vineyard model. Keywords
