Abstract
Two new cases of infection, a presternal abscess and a spondylodiscitis caused by the recently classified bacterium Kingella kingae, are reported. The main bacteriological characteristics and the susceptibility of the two isolates to antimicrobial agents are described. The pathology of K. kingae, particularly among children, is reviewed. This publication has 9 references indexed in Scilit:
