Abstract
The aim of this study was to evaluate the validity of a method which provides for the calculation of the isokinetic speed of knee rehabilitation. The results indicated that, for the sampled population, the method produced validity coefficients (r = 0.98; r = 0.94) in the excellent range. Therefore, it was concluded that the utilization of this method may be appropriate in knee cases where the torque transmitting capacity of the capsule, ligaments, and tendons are in question.
