Abstract
A simple chemical method of displacement is used for the conversion of thin films of SnS2 into Ag2S films. Thin, uniform and large-area films of SnS2 have been prepared by a chemical deposition method from an acidic medium on to glass and plastic substrates. The SnS2 films were dipped in AgNO3 solution to convert them into Ag2S films. Their structural, electrical and optical properties have been studied. Keywords
