Abstract
The effectiveness of workgroups should be affected by decisions on technology and structure. Three dimensions of technology, three of structure, and two measures of workgroup effectiveness were used to test a contingency model. Results revealed little support for hypothesized relationships. Several unanticipated significant main and interactive effects of technology on effectiveness were found. Keywords
