Abstract
Six bacteriochlorophyll (BChl) d homologues were isolated from Chlorobium limicola. The absorption spectral profiles in hexane–dichloromethane and the solvent effects indicate that the aggregation property of the BChl d’s strongly depend on the nature of the peripheral substituents. Keywords
