Abstract
A procedure is described for the identification of phenolic compounds by paper chromatography. Examples are given of the use of the method in metabolic studies. All the theoretically possible o- and p-hydroxylation products have now been identified in rabbit urine after admn. of the o-, m- and p-hydroxybenzoic acids and amides. It was shown that both salicylic acid and m-hydroxy-benzoic acid are conjugated with glycine in the rabbit. This publication has 10 references indexed in Scilit:
