Abstract
Crosstalk levels of up to –40 dBc due to stimulated Raman scattering (SRS) were measured in a 1.5 µm WDM AM-SCM CATV transmission system in both short and long wavelength channels. Dependence of the crosstalk levels on wavelength channel spacing, polarisation states, fibre dispersion and subcarrier frequency is shown. Keywords
