Abstract
A method of preserving wet feces without loss of nitrogen or gross energy has been described. Samples of bovine feces were canned, stored at room temperature and analyzed for gross energy, nitrogen, ash, crude fiber, ether extract and dry matter. There was no significant difference between these values and those obtained when samples of the same feces were analyzed in the conventional way. Canning of feces proved to be an efficient, simple means of preserving fecal samples. Copyright © . .This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
