Abstract
A fifteen‐item questionnaire composed of a number of items drawn from established scales was validated on a sample of 91 normals and 75 neurotics. This was cross‐validated on a sample of 89 normals and 91 neurotics and a cut‐off point determined, on the basis of which 77.2 per cent correct classification was obtainable. Internal consistency of sub‐samples ranged from 0.853 to 0.906 and field application of this instrument in over 750 interviews presented no difficulties. Keywords
