Abstract
The author contends that many named enzymes actually do not exist and that the evidence for the separate existence of many others is unsatisfactory. Simply because a certain reaction takes place is not sufficient ground for assuming the existence of an enzyme as its cause. The list of so-called enzymes should be thoroughly revised. No new experimental data are presented. This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
