Abstract
Seven patients in whom voluminous hemangioma of the face was surgically removed after devascularization had been carried out in accordance with Djindjian''s method are reported. The interval between arterial embolization and surgical intervention depended on the hemodynamics of the angioma (2-7 days). In the postoperative period, a reactive, reversible thrombocytosis, undescribed in the literature, was observed in 3 patients. This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
