Abstract
Homogenates of oat (Avena sativa cv. Goodfield) roots contained at least five membrane-associated adenosine triphosphatase (ATPase) activities. The membrane-bound ATPases were separated on sucrose gradients and distinguished by membrane density, pH optima, sensitivity to monovalent salts, and substrate specificity. Keywords
