Abstract
Mammograms of 31 patients under 35 yr with breast carcinoma were reviewed. Twenty-eight lesions (90%) were visible and viewed with suspicion and 19 (61%) were associated with microcalcifications. This appears to be contrary to the commonly held view that the dense parenchyma normally seen in this age group often obscures malignant lesions. This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
