Abstract
Because Aristotle's concept of topoi ("seats of arguments') is intimately connected with his art of persuasion, it is important that modern commentators provide clear analyses of the topoi in their several types and purposes. This article presents both a reconsideration of the topoi and a rejoinder to a recent paper which offered an analysis of the concept of the special topic. Keywords
