Abstract
The possibility that c¯c states remain bound even in the QCD plasma state is examined. Assuming that these states do exist, we calculate the thermal width due to the process J/ψ→D¯D and show that low-lying states might be detected. The relevance of this to heavy-ion experiments is discussed. Keywords
