Abstract
A new highly lipophilic methylgermanium(IV)porphyrin; dimethyl-5,10,15,20-tetrakis[3′,5′-bis(1″,1″-dimethylethyl)phenyl]porphynatogermanium(IV) (Abbr. MGP), has been prepared and characterized. The isolated compound showed considerable activity toward neoplastic tissues both in vitro and in vivo. Keywords
