Abstract
A gray scale providing easy visual interpretation of black-and-white photoscan transparencies was determined empirically from psychophysical and visual studies conducted on 50 observers. This optimum gray scale provides equal visualization for equal count-rate changes over the entire film range. This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
