Abstract
Amanitins, the toxins present in some mushroom species, were quantitatively determined by TLC in samples of Galerina and Amanita species. In G. autumnalis .alpha.-amanitin was found in greatest quantity; .beta.-amanitin was the only other form present. Amanitin concentration was greater in mature carpophores than developing ones. The use of amanitin analysis in taxonomy is discussed. This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
